It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dr John Hedges.

Many of you knew John, who had been involved with the Group for a very long time, and had taken the roles of Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer at different times. His commitment to the breed was second to none, but as well as that he was a lovely, giving man. He helped and motivated us through many years, and we will miss him.  An obituary will be printed in The Calf, which will be out in the 2024 New Year.
